Job Description

IT Manager

Location - London & South West Offices

Hybrid office & remote days

Salary - £50k

We’re hiring a hands-on IT Manager to take ownership of IT across a fast-growing, multi-brand organisation in the travel sector.

This is a new hire, offering the opportunity to build and shape an IT function from the ground up. You’ll act as the go-to IT expert across three London offices, balancing day-to-day support with longer-term strategic improvements.

The Role

As the UK IT Manager, you’ll be responsible for the full IT landscape across multiple business units. You’ll assess the current environment, introduce structure and best practice, and ensure a secure, efficient, and scalable technology setup.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary IT contact for all UK users across multiple offices
  • Provide hands-on support across hardware, software, networking, and user access
  • Conduct a full audit of current systems, processes, and suppliers
  • Implement and improve IT processes, tooling, and support workflows
  • Introduce and manage a ticketing/helpdesk system from scratch
  • Oversee onboarding, offboarding, and device lifecycle management
  • Manage and optimise third-party vendors and support providers
  • Drive cost efficiencies across hardware, licensing, and support models
  • Strengthen cybersecurity practices and align with group policies
  • Partner with global IT leadership on standards, architecture, and strategy

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience as a standalone IT Manager ideally
  • Proven ability to transform or build IT environments in SME or multi-site settings
  • Comfortable being both hands-on and strategic
  • Strong experience across:
  • Microsoft stack (e.g. Office 365, Teams, Azure/AD)
  • Google Workspace environments
  • Windows and Mac endpoints
  • General infrastructure (networks, Wi-Fi, devices, printers)
  • Experience selecting tools and vendors, including ticketing systems
  • Solid understanding of IT security fundamentals and best practice
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • A proactive, self-starting mindset with the ability to work independently

Culture & Fit

  • Personable and approachable – the “face of IT” in the UK
  • Comfortable in a non-corporate, fast-paced environment
  • Able to bring structure, clarity, and discipline without overcomplicating
  • Enjoys ownership and accountability in a high-impact role

Why Join?

  • High visibility role with direct impact on business performance
  • Work within a growing, PE-backed, multi-brand organisation
  • Blend of operational ownership and strategic influence
