Their mission is simple: to allow firms to communicate freely and confidently, with the knowledge that all communications are monitored and flagged in real-time for non-compliance. Having recently secured significant investment from a US growth equity firm, MirrorWeb is now poised for the next stage of rapid expansion, and they’re looking for top talent to help take them to the next level.
The Role:
As they continue to grow, they are seeking an ambitious Technical Pre-sales Engineer to join their expanding Sales team. Reporting to the COO and working alongside the VP of Sales, this role will be essential in supporting the technical aspects of the sales process, particularly for enterprise-level deals. Additionally, the role will involve collaborating with internal teams such as Product, Customer Success, and Engineering, as well as building strong relationships with key strategic vendors.
This position is dynamic and offers exposure to multiple departments, giving the successful candidate the chance to make a significant impact from day one. As the first Pre-Sales Engineer within MirrorWeb, this role has plenty of scope for progression and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the technical lead in sales processes, especially for larger, enterprise-level contracts.
- Partner with the onboarding team to ensure smooth deployment of solutions, particularly for mobile communications archiving.
- Develop technical collateral and documentation to share knowledge internally across various departments.
- Build and nurture relationships with strategic vendors, understanding their offerings and ensuring internal teams are informed.
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven experience in a pre-sales or technical customer-facing role.
- Strong communication and customer engagement skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.
- A meticulous attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
- Confidence in building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset, eager to embrace new challenges and improve processes.
- Flexibility to work independently as well as part of a team, adapting to the changing needs of a growing company.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience within a start-up or scale-up environment or building a function from scratch is highly desirable.
