The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned software engineer looking to work with the latest and greatest tech. You will take on a key role in delivering robust software systems, leveraging technologies such as .NET, C#, React, TypeScript, Azure, and containerised environments like Docker. There will be regular collaboration with both internal teams and external stakeholders, including the occasional need to travel to client sites every now and then.

Core Tech Stack
Backend: .NET, C#
Frontend: React, TypeScript
Cloud: Azure (App Services, Functions, DevOps)
Databases: SQL Server, PostgreSQL
DevOps/Infrastructure: Docker, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services using C# and .NET
- Develop high-quality, responsive frontend applications using React and TypeScript
- Deploy and manage cloud-native solutions within Microsoft Azure
- Lead and implement DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines and containerisation
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and client stakeholders to gather requirements and drive project delivery
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to knowledge sharing across the team
What They’re Looking For
- Proven experience delivering commercial software using .NET and React
- Strong understanding of Azure cloud services and DevOps workflows
- Hands-on experience with containerisation (Docker) and automated deployments
- Solid grounding in relational databases, particularly SQL Server and PostgreSQL
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A consultancy mindset comfortable working in client-facing roles and adaptable to a range of project types
- Willingness to travel for in-person collaboration several times each month
Desirable Skills
- Exposure to microservices architecture
- Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL data models
- Experience working in Agile, Scrum, or Kanban delivery teams
