The Role:
They are currently seeking an experienced Tech Lead to join their growing technology squads. As a Tech Lead, you’ll be instrumental in shaping the future of technology within the organisation. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong people leadership. You’ll lead a multidisciplinary engineering team, championing best practices, driving delivery excellence, and mentoring engineers to achieve their full potential.
This is a unique opportunity to influence the company’s digital transformation, leading the development of internal and external products and systems to ensure they remain at the forefront of the industry.
The Responsibilities:
Provide technical leadership across the squad, setting the standard for quality, scalability, and simplicity in architecture and code.
Lead the design and implementation of critical workstreams, ensuring successful delivery and alignment with business objectives.
Coach and mentor engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and professional growth.
Partner with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, and stakeholders to define and prioritise the technical roadmap.
Promote best practices in agile and DevOps methodologies, embedding a culture of continuous improvement in the team.
Guide the team through technical challenges and decision-making, maintaining a solutions-focused mindset.
Advocate for innovation and experimentation while balancing the need for stability and delivery.
The Tech:
Core Stack: Proficiency in C# .NET with Entity Framework.
Front-End Development: Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like React and NextJS
Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with AWS (ECS Fargate, Lambda, RDS MySQL) and other public cloud platforms.
Practices: Familiarity with agile development, DevOps principles, and pair programming.
Leadership: Proven experience mentoring engineers and driving technical excellence in a collaborative environment.
Mindset: Passion for building scalable, maintainable systems with a focus on simplicity and clean design.
